From leading activities on the museum floor to contributing to active research, volunteers work alongside staff to guide visitors through our gallery spaces and preserve millions of specimens. Recently, the Star Tribune took a closer look at the museum’s volunteer program, exploring how it serves as a vital community hub for science enthusiasts to share their passion for lifelong learning, connect with others, and give back to the region.
