Insider Science Tours:  Bats, Bugs and Bones

October 16 | 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Tarantulas arranged together from the museum's Collections.

To get in the Halloween spirit, get up close and personal with flesh-eating beetles, spooky scary skeletons, and your favorite creepy crawlies — think bats, spiders, and snakes. You’ll learn how researchers use these critters to understand the world around us, and you may even get to watch a “mad scientist” (OK, just a regular scientist) do a dissection. Tours are limited to 10 participants for a more personalized experience, so don’t wait to secure a spot for this one-of-a-kind opportunity.

Plus, your ticket includes museum admission, giving you plenty of time to explore our exhibit halls before or after your exclusive tour experience.
