With the generous support of the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund, educators from around the state are eligible to register for FREE water-themed programming from the Science Museum of Minnesota. With cost barriers removed, schools have access to our full range of water programming, including instructor-led assemblies and residencies tailored to their needs. Assemblies introduce key concepts, while residencies provide in-depth, hands-on learning experiences.

Use the form below to enter your details and programming preferences, and one of our STEM educators will be in touch to coordinate.

Statewide Water Education

Available for K-5 classrooms in Minnesota

Based on Minnesota state science standards, we focus on protecting water resources and highlighting actions students can take to conserve the integrity of their local water resources. Empower your students with actions and habits they can take beyond the classroom, give them a connection to their local waterways, and help teach the next generation to preserve our state’s resources for years to come.
