Celebration Days are central to the museum’s commitment to a future in which every individual can see themselves in STEM. This annual event series shines a spotlight on the experiences and contributions of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and women in STEM.

These events bring together voices from across Twin Cities metro area community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, and policy circles to celebrate and elevate their impact.

Science Celebration is the Science Museum of Minnesota’s annual principal fundraising experience, generating crucial funding and support for the museum’s year-round STEM education work. This after-hours, adults-only night at the museum features food and beverage, behind-the-scenes experiences, scientific performances, and more.

Omnifest

Omnifest, the Science Museum of Minnesota’s annual giant screen movie festival, runs from Wednesday, Feb. 26, to Sunday, April 5, 2026. Omnifest is a beloved Science Museum tradition, highlighting four features running in a daily rotation on the Omnitheater’s 90-foot domed screen.
