Hungry at the museum? In addition to two onsite restaurants, the Cafe and the Kitchen, we have catering options available so your group can spend more time connecting with each other and interacting with our many hands-on exhibits.
Boxed Lunches
If you just need lunch for your group, like a field trip, we can make that simple. Boxed lunches can be delivered at a time and place within the museum that works for you.
$12 per person | Minimum 25 guests
Every lunch comes with potato chips, a fresh apple, and a canned water. Choose from four sandwich options:
- Turkey and Cheddar
- Ham and Swiss
- Roast Beef and Cheddar
- SunButter and Jelly
Gluten-free bread is available upon request. Want to sweeten the deal? Upgrade your group with Pepsi products, juice boxes, milk boxes, or a chocolate chip cookie for just $2-$3 each.

Picnic Experiences
“Picnic” packages combine reserved gathering space with full museum access, making it easy to plan a memorable outing for corporate teams, community groups, summer celebrations, or employee appreciation events.
Three rooms are available – Discover Hall, Argon, and the Patio – at three different timeframes in the morning, afternoon, or evening (evenings are available on weekends only). All packages include:
- Picnic menu
- 90 minutes of reserved picnic space
- Full museum admission before or after your picnic experience available for an additional $18 per-person fee
