The Martians celebrates the remarkable contributions of Hungarian scientists, inventors, and Nobel laureates whose innovation shaped the world we know today. A unique and engaging educational experience, the exhibit features large, interactive touchscreens that highlight the greatest Hungarian innovators.
The nickname “The Martians” originated here in America: The scientists seemed so extraordinary that people joked they must be from another planet. The Hungarian scientists spoke a unique intellectual language and thought so brilliantly that many of their contemporaries joked they must be from Mars.
The Martians made its debut in 2025 at Vörösmarty Square in Budapest, Hungary, followed by a second stop at Buda Castle.
