Be the first to uncover our new traveling exhibition from Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture, exploring more than 5,000 years of tattooing, from ancient ritual to one of today’s most visible forms of artistic expression.

Body of Work: Tattoo Culture invites you to examine tattooing as one of the oldest and most widespread forms of human expression. Bringing together historical artifacts, photographs, documentaries, and oral histories, the exhibit traces how tattoos have carried meaning across cultures and continents for millenia.

During this 18+ event, discover your own tattoo style through hands-on interactives, explore a tattoo “pain heat map,” browse hundreds of tattoo submissions from around the world, and snap a pic in a vintage tattoo chair. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
