The Lending Library is a collection of educational materials for teachers and other education professionals to check out and use to engage their students and audiences in a variety of scientific subject areas.
If you’re part of an organization, school, or district that would like to access the Lending Library, we offer memberships that allow you to check out materials, access expert training, and more.
Lending Library membership includes:
- Use of hands-on STEM classroom materials from our collection, featuring custom river process stream tables and curriculum, over 200 skulls, geological and fossil specimens, 3D-printed objects, hard-to-find books, games, and so much more
- Orientation for whole schools, departments, or individual instructors
- Individualized training on select equipment and models
- Contact-free pick up and drop off of materials
- Consultation with Science Museum staff on lesson design and relevant resources
