Project Archive

Focused on the the construction of scientific knowledge and science as a social process, this exhibit and web project followed the ongoing archaeological investigation of a 9,000-year old site in present-day Turkey. It premiered at the Science Museum of Minnesota in September 2001.

This two-disc archive documents the project and captures highlights from the exhibit and website.

Disc 1 - DVD
DVD of video loops featured in the exhibit and the excavation site in Turkey
Disc 2 - CD-ROM
CD-ROM archive of exhibit panels, websites, production slideshow, and VR tour of the exhibit and excavation site.

The Project Archive was distributed to teachers, museum professionals, and archaeologists. The archive was a wonderful resource for people interested in exploring both Çatalhöyük as well as the process of developing this website and museum exhibit.
